Colombia started their Copa America campaign with style as they beat USA 2-0 in the opening game of the 2016 COPA America. Cristian Zapata and James Rodriguez provided the two goals needed to grab the whole 3 points from USA. Zapata scored his first international goal, the opening goal of the tournament and the quickest goal in the opening game of the tournament since 1999 after converting from a corner kick. James Rodriguez doubled the lead from a penalty spot where records his first goal of the tournament. Colombia who are in the same group with Paraguay, Costa Rica and of course, USA will play their second game against paraguay on Tuesday next week.
